doula chef training
Our mission is to rekindle the ways women show up for each other.
Reclaiming the Red Tent
For generations, women gathered to honor life’s cycles—menstruation, birth, healing, and transition. These gatherings were spaces for storytelling, spiritual teaching, and practical knowledge passed down from mother to daughter, sister to sister. We invite you into our Red Tent—a sacred space where wisdom is shared, nourishment is offered, and women are deeply supported.
Fill Your Cup First
Every doula must first cultivate her own nourishment rituals before offering care to others. This foundation is at the heart of Doula Chef training. By embracing these skills in your own kitchen, you lay the groundwork for providing sacred support to others.
Coming Soon
Later this year, we’ll be launching an immersive training designed to prepare nourishing meals for mothers during their sacred postpartum season. Whether you’re new to birth support or looking to deepen your offerings, this training will empower you to support women through the power of food.
What You’ll Learn:
Sacred Nourishment: Create nutrient-dense meals tailored to pregnancy and postpartum needs
Ancestral Wisdom: Explore traditional recipes, herbal remedies, and healing foods from global traditions
Phase-Focused Support: Understand the nutritional needs of mothers and babies during pregnancy, postpartum, and lactation
Practical Culinary Skills: Master meal prep techniques, batch cooking, food safety, and time-saving strategies
Mother-Centered Care: Gain insight into how food and care contribute to a mother’s emotional and physical recovery
You won’t become a doula—you’ll remember that you are one.
Community offerings
We are building a Doula Kitchen Resource Exchange and referral network to connect doula chefs and mothers. We will also hold Red Tent Moon Circles near full and new moons—sacred gatherings where doulas, birth supporters, kinkeepers and caregivers can:
Show up and be seen exactly as they are
Share wisdom and lived experiences
Support one another through their journeys
Exchange valuable resources
Join the Circle
Step into the kitchen, reclaim healing traditions, and learn the service of sacred nourishment as a self-advocate, supportive sister or care professional.
